It is always a pleasure to work with clients who demand a high level of sophistication in regard to art, typography and graphic design.

Kindergarten Readiness Calendar

A calendar produced for the United Way of Champaign County. The original design was inspired by the look and feel of a Dr Seuss book. The objective was to clearly provide useful ideas, information and resources to parents and other caregivers of small children to better prepare them for school.

The UW team of staff and volunteers were a dedicated group of professionals. It was a rewarding project to be a part of.

Dance Promotion Poster

A poster commissioned by the University of Illinois' Department of Dance for BFA recruitment targeting high school students. One of three designs presented to the department faculty for discussion.

For me, the highlight of this project was making the collage of color, images, type and expressive movement come alive. Art direction of the photography was essential to the poster's success. What is unique is that all of the movers here are actually UIUC dance students. The moments in time captured in the photography reveal the kind of emotion that would appeal to the target audience. In addition, many of the students walked away with some great images for their own professional use.

Landscape Photography Calendar

Popular Midwest photographer Larry Kanfer showcases some of his most recent pictures of the prairie in this new calendar.

It was a pleasure for my partner Paul Young and I to work with Alaina and Larry on this project.

Educational Web Site

Working with Kate Kuper on this project was exciting! Having been intimately involved myself in the bodywork/somatics field for over ten years as a Trager practitioner, I completely understood the concepts presented in Kate's work. Her enthusiasm and ability to articulate and define creative movement and the importance of experiential learning was inspiring.

It's easy to make art work when you believe in it!
