This special one-day field trip is designed for students in Parkland's Graphic Design Program who want to go back in history and see a fully operational letterpress print shop that still uses hand-set wood type. Hidden away in the cornfields of Indiana, Tribune Showprint is the oldest continuously running print shop in the USA. Open since 1878, Tribune is actually one year older than the world-famous Hatch Show Print
in Nashville.
